ABOUT ME

My name is Robert F Forbes and I am a Freelance Portrait and Figurative Artist / Web Designer based in the UK near Glasgow.


ART

I specialise in Portraiture and Figurative artwork. The majority of my art is focused on Celebrities. That means I produce art based on famous people or anyone well known within their profession i.e. Film Stars, Tv Personalities, Music Legends, Bodybuilders / Sporting Greats, Models / Erotic & Pin Up, and More!

I also enjoy creating non-celebrity artwork i.e. completing commissions for clients that wish me to produce either drawings, paintings or digital art based on their own personal photos, their friends, family or loved ones etc.

My art ranges from photo realism to simplified design to erotic fantasy. My style changes depending on the client. I work with a variety of materials - pencil on paper, paint on canvas (acrylic, oils, watercolour) and digital.

I choose to only work from photographs. This is my personal preference.

I work closely with clients providing them with step by step photos to illustrate how their art is progressing. I feel by allowing the client to see how their drawing or painting is progressing from start to finish helps generate a sense of excitement and anticipation for the final outcome.

WEB DESIGN

I design websites for clients based in the UK and across the world. Clients range from Models to personal trainers, to photographers and people in general with small businesses looking to promote their business via the web.
